Hawaii Department of Education (DOE)

HPIRC partners with selected schools throughout the state, to bring direct services to families, as well as technical assistance to staff. In addition, HPIRC helps shape statewide parent involvement practices by collaborating closely with the state Parent Community Networking Centers(PCNC) office and district superintendants.

Hawaii State Department of Health (DOH)

HPIRC is collaborating closely with public health nurses from the Department of Heath on parenting and health outreach, through activities inculding radio programs and an acculturation book for newcomers to the Hawaiian islands.

Parents And Children Together (PACT)

Parents and Children Together (PACT) serves as the fiscal agent for the PIRC grant, and implements HPIRC programs at the Kaneohe Community Family Center, Kuhio Park Terrace Family Center, and on Molokai.

Hawaii Literacy

Hawaii Literacy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building literacy among Hawaii's diverse families. HPIRC partners with Hawaii Literacy through a children's library located in a low-income housing area, and through workshops which are part of the Family Literacy Program.

Windward P-3 Preschool to K-3 Project

Windward P-3 Preschool to K-3 Project strengthens early learning experiences for children birth to 8, through better alignment and integration of programs. P-3 works at the school/community and district levels, to bolster children’s social-emotional and cognitive development toward the end goal of all children reading at grade level by third grade.

KEY Project Family Community Center

The Kahaluu Ecumenical Youth (KEY) Project implements HPIRC in the Kahaluu area of Oahu.

Family Support Services of West Hawaii (FSSWH)

Family Support Services of West Hawaii implements HPIRC at Kealakehe Parent-Community Center, and runs the HIPPY Program in the the Kealakehe, Kahakai and Ka’u School districts.

Chuuk State, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)

Chuukese Faith-Based Leaders Group

HPIRC and church elders from the 4C's Church of Kailua are currently partnering in the Sundays Project, in a capacity-building effort among Chuukese parents. Together, important parenting issues within the Chuukese community are identified, around which workshops and discussions are planned and implemented.

Chuukese Women's Group

This group of Chuukese women have come together to provide leadership and information to their growing community. Currently, HPIRC works closely with the Chuukese Women's Group to produce skits on parenting and health issues for radio and television broadcast.

Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI)

MaLo Marshallese Women's Group

MaLo is a grassroots group of Marshallese Women who champion parent involvement in their community. Together, HPIRC and MaLo are providing public service announcements on parenting issues on a Marshallese radio program, and collaborating on increasing Marshallese participation in early childhood education workshops.

KNDI Radio, Broadcast House of the Pacific, Inc.

KNDI Radio is committed to bringing the ethnic communities of Hawaii a voice. HPIRC partners with KNDI Radio to provide Marshallese and Chuukese radio programs and public service announcements.
