Kaneohe Community Family Center

Located in Kaneohe, in the island of Oahu, a PACT Program

The goals of the Center are aimed at assisting parents through strategies supported by research which show that parental involvement leads to academic success for students.

Program Description

  • To increase the knowledge of and confidence of parents in child-rearing activities;
  • To strengthen partnerships with parents and professionals in meeting the educational needs of children from birth through high school; and
  • To enhance the working relationships between home, school and community agencies.

Schools/Communities Served

The Kaneohe Community Family Center is located at Heeia Elementary School at 45-202 Haiku Road, Room P-2 in Kaneohe and serves the Castle Complex Schools (J.B. Castle High School, and its feeder schools, Ahuimanu, Kahaluu, Waiahole, Heeia, Ben Parker, Kaneohe, Puohala, Kapunahala Elementary, and King Intermediate School).
