Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) provides home visitation and socialization groups with emphasis on teaching and modeling how to be your child’s first teacher through the use of the thirty-week HIPPY curriculum for 3, 4, and 5 year olds.
Program Description
(HIPPY) is a home visiting program for caregivers of young children ages 3 to 5 years old designed to increase school readiness and to foster parents’ involvement in their children’s education and in community life. The curriculum is focused on specific school readiness skills and the four essential features are role playing, home visits, group meetings, and a staff of home visitors.

The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) office is located at 75-127 Lunapule Road in Kailua-Kona and serves families living in West Hawaii.
